Lesson Learned

My SO and I learned a little life lesson today that we would like to share with blog readers and the blogosphere in general............

Now, this tip is rather like the one that has been passed on for generations about not eating yellow snow. Our tip, however, will have your olfactory sense thanking you profusely.

Do not leave nightcrawlers in a refrigerator for an extended period of time.

If you do, when you return to your refrigerator, you will find a purely disgusting and revolting smell when you open the refrigerator door. This horrible odor may cause you to gag, vomit, or otherwise cringe.

We were lucky that we just left our nightcrawlers in a small refrigerator designated for beverage cans and bottles only. Thank goodness we did not leave the crawlers down below where some foodstuffs were kept. We would have been throwing out food right and left.

Please, take a lesson from us. If you have leftover nightcrawlers when you leave your residence, return the creatures to whence they came..........dirt.

Your proboscis will thank you!
